Speech on Cloud computing it's advantages and disadvantages

 🎤 Speech on Cloud Computing

Good morning respected teachers and my dear friends.

Today, I am going to speak on the topic “Cloud Computing – its Advantages and Disadvantages.”

Cloud computing simply means using the internet to store, manage, and process data instead of keeping everything on your personal computer. For example, when we use Google Drive, Gmail, or online photo storage, we are using cloud computing.

Advantages of Cloud Computing

  1. Easy Access – We can access our data and applications anytime and anywhere through the internet.

  2. Cost Effective – No need to buy expensive storage devices or servers.

  3. Scalability – We can increase or decrease storage and services as per our needs.

  4. Collaboration – Many people can work together on the same file at the same time.

  5. Automatic Updates – The cloud provider takes care of software and security updates.

Disadvantages of Cloud Computing

  1. Internet Dependency – Without internet, cloud services cannot be accessed.

  2. Security Risks – Data stored online can be hacked or leaked if not properly secured.

  3. Limited Control – Users depend on the service provider for maintenance and policies.

  4. Downtime Issues – Sometimes servers may be down, and services become unavailable.

  5. Hidden Costs – Though it looks cheaper, charges can increase with heavy usage.

Conclusion

Friends, cloud computing is a modern technology that makes our life easier by saving data and giving us access anywhere. But at the same time, we must be careful about data security and dependency on the internet.

Just like every technology, cloud computing has both advantages and disadvantages. The key is to use it wisely and safely.

Thank you.
